Steven Hoekstra et al on cover of Applied Physics Letters
The Research of Steven Hoekstra, Bart Schellenberg, Mina Morshed Behbahani, Nithesh Balasubramanian and Ties H. Fikkers has made it recently to a cover of Applied Physics Letters.
The article is entitled "Mass and shape determination of optically levitated nanoparticles."
In this paper, Hoekstra et al demonstrate a new way to analyze the mass and shape of nanoparticles using optical tweezers in vacuum, paving the way for more precise measurements and sensing.
