Where is the library?
We're in the city centre, Broerplein, across the Academy Building. We have a library at the Zernike Campus as well.
The library is also called "The UB".

Do I need a library card?
You need your student card to enter the library, for borrowing books and for entering a pre-booked studio.

Study places
There are 2200 study places available, with and without a pc. You only need to make a reservation during exam periods (UG-only). You can also book a studio.

How can I borrow books?
We have an online catalogue which shows you our collection (printed and online), and tells you how to access or borrow publications.

What about off-campus access?
We have millions of online books, articles and other publications. You can access these from anywhere, simply by logging in with your UG-account.

Can I get a coffee?
There are coffee corners on each floor. You can top up credits on your student card to buy coffee, or use your debit card.
